Internship in International Education

The World Affairs Council is seeking an intern for its education program. The intern should be currently enrolled in a secondary social studies education program at a Houston university.

The student will gain valuable experience working for a non-profit whose mission is the promotion of international education in Houston-area secondary schools and colleges. The intern’s work will expand his or her knowledge of international issues including American foreign policy, while cultivating skills like curriculum development, grant writing, and research.

The internship will be a semester-long and the student will be expected to work 10 hours per week.
